This work is activated by breathing onto the glass to reveal the image on its surface. While details in the first viewing will be sharp and clear, the act of each subsequent viewing will slightly deteriorate the image quality. Thus the image will change slightly every time it is seen and will never be exactly the same twice. The image can only be accessed a finite number of times before it disappears completely. In breathing onto the glass and activating the work, the role of maker is temporarily transferred to the one doing the breathing, and that person acts simultaneously as both the creator and the viewer. The image on the glass will never be replicated by this artist in any form. By owning this piece one possesses not just the physical artifact but the exclusive experience of making and witnessing the work, and the right to distribute access to others at ones own discretion.
